Bethesda Sues Mojang

"Scrolls", of course being easily confused with "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim".


There is a lot of strange news that comes out of Mojang, the recently formed indie development studio. After all, it's ran by Notch, the creator of Minecraft, a strange and wonderful beast himself. But, no one, not even the "almighty Notch", could've seen this coming.

Bethesda is suing Mojang for its use of the word "Scrolls".

Minecraft Surpasses 3 Million Copies Sold

In a recent tweet by game creator and Swedish Markus "Notch" Persson, it was announced that the once cult-hit Minecraft has now broken the 3-Million sales mark, not too shabby for a game that’s technically not out yet.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim | PC Version Details

Skyrim's support of the PC platform may delightfully surprise dedicated Mouse & Keyboard gamers.

Ever since its move to console, the Elder Scrolls franchise has always thrived in sales for its console iterations. However, some might argue that the real community exists within the realm of the desktop, the PC gamers.

Bethesda is aware of this, and just like with Fallout 3 and Oblivion, the PC version of Skyrim is going to ship with some variations that might happily surprise you come this November.

Minecraft | 1.8 Adventure Update Details

Complex combat, above ground dungeons, and NPC towns are all coming to fruition in the soon-to-be released update for Minecraft.

The foundation has been laid, now Mojang is building the game they really want to deliver.
With Minecraft recently reaching over 2.8 Million total game sales since it's alpha release last year, one might think that Notch and his team at Mojang Specifications would be content to rest on their laurels, this is apparently not the case.

Beta Update 1.8 entitled "The Adventure Update" is set to come very soon, and Mojang is ready to change the world of Minecraft forever by implementing over 40 new features into the game for both Single and Multiplayer.
